Origin
Origin is an augmented reality application for iOS and Android and winner of the EYA 2015. First, the user has to put together his/her own species, using a set of predefined bodyparts, such as bone-, plant-, machine- and insect-parts. Once the species is created, it can be set into an AR – environment, which can be influenced by the user, who is acting as a natural force determining the fate of their breed.
I was responsible for the audio and the visual part of the project. The audio samples and background music are generated accordingly to the situation and the mood of the creatures. Also the mood and natural behaviour is represented in the color and appearance of the creature.
Our team consists of 6 main members plus two external artists.

Unser team besteht aus 6 Studenten der FH Salzburg. Für 3D Modelle und Sound wurden noch zwei Artists beauftragt.
Mein Arbeitsgebiet war die Einbindung des Sounds und der korrekten Darstellung der 3d Modelle. Dadurch entstand eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Künstlern.
