LED Pyramids

This project was created as a temporary sound reactive installation. The pyramids were shown for one weekend in a club in vienna and at the Fantastic gondola festival in Lech am Arlberg/ Austria.

I wrote a mappings software in processing to use the pyramids as a display. The power supply for the high intensity LEDs was distributed over three power supplies, to ensure constant 5V supply. The wiring within the pyramids was designed to provide an even power distribution. The pixelpusher was used to controll the 3072 LEDs.
